Internets: Tell me what to buy! iPad or Macbook Air?

I need your advice: What should I get?
Macbook Air or an iPad, what do I need? If I buy an iPad I am also getting the keyboard and stand, just so you know where my head is at.

What I will use this machine for:
Internet browsing
Taking notes on the road
Entertainment
Blogging and writing
Possible video editing
Taking pictures? (I have an iPhone so I may not need to “take” the photos with this machine)
Taking video (see above)
Needs to be durable (will be traveling with this machine)
Want it to last and keep up with industry standards of internet speed and hard drive size for maybe three years? (Is that insane?)
